VELIS EVO WI-FI WINS GREEN HOME AWARD
Our slim, smart and super-fast Velis Evo Wi-Fi has been declared the ‘Best Hot Water Innovation’ at the Green Home Awards 2021.
The revolutionary electric storage water heater impressed the judges with its performance, efficiency, environmental accreditations and uniqueness in the market, as well as sustainable production methods.
The Velis Evo Wi-Fi boasts an ultra slim twin tank design for up to 16% more hot water availability. The water heater is the perfect combination of comfort and premium Italian design, while it offers rapid reheat times and is shower ready in less than 30 minutes.

The Green Home Awards celebrates the best in sustainable home builds and commends organisations that are leading the way in sustainable technologies designed for a low carbon future. The judges included architect Paul Testa and Homebuilding & Renovating's energy-efficiency expert David Hilton.

Available in capacities of 45 and 80 litres, the Velis Evo Wi-Fi measures just 27cm in depth and benefits from titanium enamelled tank engineering – ensuring exceptional durability and extended product life. Ariston has maximised this potential by utilising twin tank technology, which reduces stratification and provides up to 16% more hot water compared to other electric storage water heaters. The unit is a modern and space saving alternative to a traditional 100L cylinder, perfect for small apartments, studios and loft conversions.
The state-of-the-art Velis Evo Wi-Fi is the first and only electric water heater of its kind currently certified for the UK market with Wi-Fi controllability, which is achieved via the incredibly innovative Aqua Ariston Net app. The sophisticated app enables users to shuffle through modes and turn the unit on remotely for a hot shower at the perfect time – while offering incredible energy savings of up to 25% using daily and weekly programming.
The outstanding energy efficiency credentials of the electric water heater are further enhanced by our pioneering ‘ECO EVO’ function – an electronic control with automatic learning software, which enables users to achieve energy savings of up to 14%; the equivalent to running an A+ rated fridge-freezer for approximately a year. The new products also achieve an ErP ‘B’ rating across the range, the best in-class of its kind.
All units have an easy to configure, smart ‘blue tech’ touchscreen, and are supplied with an unvented kit, as well as a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty as standard.
