The other key consideration is how much water are you going to use – and how frequently will you be using it? If you know the latter, you should check a product’s reheat times to ensure it meets your usage requirements.
Choosing the right electric water heater isn’t as difficult as you may think. Picking an over or under sink model usually depends on how much free space you have available – i.e. a lack of wall space suits under sink water heaters, whereas if there’s no room underneath (and no free cupboard space) then an over sink water heater is the way to go.

Andris Lux Eco
Andris is a range of small, unvented water heaters fed directly from the cold water mains supply. With dimensions starting from only 315mm wide by 250mm deep, they are perfect for applications where space is at a premium, such as bathrooms, kitchens, annexes and garages.
Units are available in over and undersink variants, in a number of sizes and capacities, allowing them not only to be added to an existing water system, but also fitted in small spaces, such as inside cupboards.
All models in the range are highly durable and easy to use. Polyurethane insulation enables hot water to be kept at the desired temperature for a long period of time, while Andris Lux Eco units benefit from anti-legionella technology, as well as Ariston’s Eco Evo function, which memorises user habits to deliver hot water exactly when required, saving money on energy bills.

Industry-leading warranties
For example, all Andris electric water heaters are supplied with a minimum three-year warranty on the tank, and one year on electric components. Andris Lux Eco models boast a longer four-year warranty. Warranties are subject to annual service and/or inspection.

Essentially, this is a product which provides domestic hot water by utilising an electric heating element. The units are provided in different sizes and power outputs, depending on the application. From smaller units for single point of use to larger units for showers and bath’s, an electric water heater provides an versatile way in which to provide heated water for your home, garage, shed, camping pod, outhouse and pretty much any location you can think of!
Where can it be installed in my home?
There really is no limitation here, as long as you have a suitable power supply and water connection within the area you would like to install the unit. As the units come in sizes from 5L to 100L, or even smaller instantaneous units with no stored hot water, there are also a wide range of sizes in-between too to ensure they will fit within the area you would like it be placed.
What is the difference between an Electric "Storage" and Electric "Instantaneous" water heater?
We offer storage electric heaters, meaning the domestic hot water is within a tank from 5L to 100L, for single to multi-point applications. Whereas an instantaneous electric water heater is designed to provide instant hot water without storage. Both types of units have different benefits from the number of simultaneous outlets usable at one time to total capacity, thus please refer to our sizing guide to find out the ideal fit unit for your application!
What sort of outlets can I run the Electric water heater to? Will it supply a bath?
These are designed to be versatile units, suitable for almost any domestic water application where hot water is required. From a bathroom basin, to showers or a bath, we have a range of electric water heaters that can suit your requirements.
Please note that we calculate a kitchen sink at 10-15L of hot water, an average shower of 10 minutes at 40L of hot water, an average bath can take 60-80L of hot water (depending on temperature preferences).
Can I control my Electric water heater through an app?
Yes, for certain products we have apps that are downloadable from the Apple App Store or Android Play Store that work with our units, so you can control the storage temperature and are able to turn the unit on and off remotely.
