There are three tax deductions available:

Building renovation refers to all restoration and restoration work on structures and systems carried out on existing buildings.

Yes, the replacement of the boiler is considered a building renovation operation provided that this intervention leads to an increase in energy savings.

The subjects that can benefit from the deductions for renovation works are the owners or holders of rights on the property on which the works are carried out and which bear the costs.At the same time, the tenant or the borrower of the property can also request incentives.

The necessary condition for obtaining the tax deduction envisaged in the case of Restructuring Construction, is the replacement of the old boiler with one of the condensation range (in order to guarantee energy savings).Afterwards, the information relating to the cadastral works and data (if required) must be included in the tax return.

There are three steps that must be performed to get the incentive for building renovation:

  1. MAKE PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER: Make payment by bank transfer (Reason for payment: "Article 16-bis of Presidential Decree 917/1986"), invoice number and related issue date, Tax Code of the beneficiary of the deduction VAT number or tax code whose turnover has been invoiced
  2. STORE THE DOCUMENTATION:
    - Declaration of conformity of the Plant (issued by the Installer)
    - Documentation certifying the achievement of energy savings
    - Invoices and tax receipts for expenses incurred
    - Bank or postal transfers with which the expenses have been paid
    - Payment of ICI or IMU payment
  3. DELIVER DOCUMENTATION IN THE INCOME STATEMENT: Deliver a copy of the documentation when you submit your tax return and get the deduction. You will receive a rebate spread over 10 annual installments of the same amount

2)  SEND THE ENEA DESCRIPTIVE SHEET: within 90 days from the end of the works it is necessary to send to ENEA the descriptive card of the intervention

3)    STORE THE DOCUMENTATION:

  • Receipt of information sheet E (CPID Code)
  • Invoices and tax receipts for expenses incurred
  • Bank or postal transfers with which the expenses have been paid (boiler, accessories and installation)

The costs for the supply and installation of all the heating equipment, such as the boiler, the solar thermal panel, the heat pump, the hybrid systems and those necessary for the operation of the plant are eligible.Furthermore, the costs for dismantling and disposing of the existing old plant are allowed

The Thermal Account is an incentive dedicated to interventions to increase energy efficiency and the production of thermal energy from renewable sources for small plants. The incentive is a non-repayable capital account and for incentives lower than € 5,000 it is paid within 90 days from the signing of the contract of the GSE, the entity responsible for managing the mechanism and providing the incentives.

The Ariston products valid for this type of incentive are:

  • heat pump for the production of sanitary water if installed in replacement of old electric water heaters

The conventional warranty on electric water heaters provides that the consumer will not bear any cost or expense, for the required interventions, if the defect occurs within 6 months from the date of purchase. In addition to the Conventional Warranty, Ariston Thermo S.p.A offers an additional service called Long Life in the event that a device malfunction occurs. Specifically, if the defect occurs within 2 years from the date of purchase (ie, from the 7th to the 24th month) the repair does not provide any cost to the consumer, with the exception of the so-called contribution for home transfer expenses (commonly known as call cost), in force at the time of the intervention and which, however, remains at the discretion of the Technical Assistance Center.

Also and exclusively in the case of drilling the tank and consequently necessary replacement of the product, from the 7th to the 24th month or from the 7th to the 36th month or, again, from the 7th to the 60th month (depending on the model of the appliance and as indicated on the warranty certificate) the Technical Assistance Center will deliver to the consumer an authorization with which the user can pick up, at a retailer, a new product of the same type as the one to be replaced. In this case, it should be noted that the contribution for the home transfer costs, the withdrawal of the new product, the replacement and disposal of the replaced device will be at the user's expense.

The boiler is a generator that uses the combustion of a methane to generate heat to be transferred to water. Its maximum efficiency can be 100%, ie when it can exploit all the energy contained in the gas. The heat pump, on the other hand, uses a thermodynamic cycle to transmit heat from a colder environment to a warmer one.
